I am not a technology person. However during the last presidential election I figured out how to block a certain word on Twitter. My Twitter feed would never show a tweet with that certain person’s name in it.
I don’t know how many words you can block but I am close to blocking two more — Calipari and Arkansas. I just really don’t care what is going on in Hog Nation or whatever they call their fan base. I have moved on just like Calipari did when he turned in his resignation.
I don’t care that Tyson Chicken, Walmart and Jerry Jones are offering up big bucks. They can “buy” all the players they want. This seems to work well for the Dallas Cowboys, ha ha. What I do care about is the FACT that the Cats last year had one All-American, National Freshman of the year, two lottery picks (that didn’t start) and three 7-footers and got beat by Oakland. Let me repeat …got beat by OAKLAND.
I don’t care if Calipari wears blue nor do I care that (according to some) he doesn’t look good in red. He chose that color over the power of Kentucky blue.
I don’t care who his staff members are. They are not here and that is all that matters. They have traded Jeff Ruby’s for Texas Roadhouse and that is on them. Farewell.
I don’t care if Arkansas signs 10 top five recruits. Stars beside your name do not win games. Passion, dedication and hard work provide success in college basketball. Kentucky basketball is more than a NBA year-long training camp.
I don’t care if all of last year’s roster transfers to Arkansas. They were here for the wrong reasons. Kentucky on the front means more than the name on the back.
What I do care about is what is happening in Lexington. The new era of “Pope” is underway. That is all that matters. The only time Arkansas will be relevant is when it makes its way to Rupp Arena to get their ass kicked. That’s when I will care.
My Twitter feed will not be as lengthy when those words are blocked. That’s okay because the Pope is Hope and I am all in.

Jimmy, do you EVER have anything constructive to say, or do you just attack those who don’t see things the way you do??? Calipari is gone and good riddance! Mark Pope is our coach now and will be our coach for a long time. It’s time for BBN to come together and support Mark and the University. If all you can do is have pissing contests with everyone or anyone, you need to get over yourself. If you can’t do that, at least leave this site…EVERYONE is tired of your negativity and mine. You and me have had vicious back and forth attacks on each other, but your horse lost and is gone. I honestly think you are as much a Kentucky fan as I am. I hope both you and me will leave the past in the past and support Kentucky and BBN as it moves forward. I know other people read these posts, please let me know what you think about this one. Jimmy, we don’t have to be friends, but for the sake of everyone, we need to get along or move on if that’s not acceptable to you.

Barry I was just talking to Mr. Wethington. Why take a jab at the President on a non political site. I’m in agreement with Tina. Cal doesn’t need to be talked about anymore. I find most have to put down Cal in order to praise Pope. Like you said he’s gone. Just praise Pope and let it go. I’m hoping Pope brings home #9. He’s a good dude and it looks like he’s getting some traction.

Mark Pope told Sheppard to follow his heart. I think Greed Sheppard is doing just that!

Calipari?

Just a question. Tina this article reads like you are angry with Cal because he left. Is that true or are you just mad at him in general? Or am I just miss understanding things like usual?

Good article Tina.

Thanks for the response! I have no anger that Cal left. I am just tired of seeing what is happening with Arkansas basketball!

I have an argument with him, Tina. He has practically destroyed UK basketball
in the last 9 years. Glad he is gone, but am concerned about recovery.Reply
The Cats will be fine.

Calipari is going to make a good hog. His experience in being a publicity hog and an athletic budget hog will help him be a good hog
