I am temporarily switching to streaming from torrenting because I really need to get a usb drive external hard drive (my laptop only has 128 gigs and I've used over half of that on other stuff)

Like I can watch YouTube videos in f*cking 1080p 60fps/1440p 30fps just fine but when I try to watch anime in 720p it either buffers a sh*t ton or the video anime becomes choppy (I assume they do this to avoid buffering)

The first thing I thought of was that the reason I can watch 1440p YouTube videos but not 720p anime was because anime usually has a lot more going on than your typical YouTube video (especially when it's an action anime)

But this definitely isn't the case because I've watched some fps gameplays on YouTube in 1440p just fine and Crunchyroll Premium works fine as well (I got some Guest Passes from Reddit)

The second thing I thought of was that the reason I can watch 1440p YouTube videos but not 720p anime was that I tried watching my anime on websites instead of an app like I do with YouTube (I watch my anime on my tablet)

I can't test if this is correct right now because I sent my laptop for screen repair but if this is true are there any good apps for watchiwhat is ite

And if it isn't true then what is it

It buffers either because of the ads or because your wifi just sucks.

Also I tried to watch anime with addblock browser

It might be due to the streaming site's server. As far as I know, every streaming site have their own forum or mods you can talk to about that kind of problem, look elsewhere for that and I'm sure a mod will check it.

Illegal streaming sites are f*cked. Horribly put together. Best solution is to stop watching anime.

I've tried watching anime on multiple websites so I don't think it has to do with their servers

I believe someone on Reddit leaked a bunch of server photos that are the one's that are handling anime sites, I think this specific one is for Gogoanime.to.

You can simply download and delete and the fact that you're switched to streaming doesn't do you any justice.

The all use the same video hosts which are throttling your sh*t because it's cheaper and they're making bank anyways.

Well this isn't universally true, they often work fine. Sometimes you can go to a different site and it works better.

Why do people even stream? Like really. Now I can understand netflix to an extent, but an illegal site has garbage quality.

Just buy an external hard drive if you need space or delete stuff you don't like. Never stream.

Could be the servers under load.

The only time I remember having buffering was on kissanime in like the evening or so I believe. If I watched in like the morning, no buffering. if I watched on another site, no buffering.

So I guess maybe bear in mind that a ton of others may be streaming as well. Also how popular the specific site may likely be. Kissanime is probably #1.

Been watching on 9anime.to now though (I mostly download but sometimes I stream like for OVAs just released a few days ago or anime I can't download) and haven't ran into buffering. Only thing was I started having issues with their ads so I ended up reblocking (had whitelisted them) their ads.

I prefer to whitelist sites I tend to regularly use but I can't do it if your ads are causing me problems. Maybe I'll try whitelisting them again in the future.

They are likely throttling you if it isn't your net or you are using a suboptimal browser. I have fiber net and kissanime struggles to buffer sometimes.

I switched to masterani and there are no issues

I always assumed stuff like this happens due to server traffic. Not sure if true though.

Because most video sites don't have the capital to purchase the hardwar eand bandwidth needed to serve a large amount of customers.

You do realize Google has dedicated billions of dollars to maintain and improve Youtube, right?

The reason why the videos are buffering is because of
A)The planes cut off the internet over and over again

B)The Weather that effects the internet interuption

Or C)The streaming servers are down

But the question is...when will this they fix the internet server connection in high speed again!? It can't stay like this forever!

I'm having this exact problem with 9anime.to, I can watch a 4k video on youtube but not a 360p on 6 difffrent severs. Fking stupid because it your isp throttling sht, and it's because you've torrented stuff. Which of course someone who doesn't want to go to their isp and potetially get in trouble. Would resort to more torrenting of illegal anime. GOD I absolutly hate this sht.
