Our top teams in the Nashville area Large and Small Class high school softball rankings remain unchanged. The Large Class consists of teams in Class 3A-4A and Division II-AA while the Small Class includes team in 1A-2A and DII-A.

Here are the latest rankings through games played April 13.

Large Class

1. Green Hill (27-7-2)‒ Green Hill had a full plate last week, losing to Small Class No. 1 Gordonsville (5-0) and tying Nolensville (8-8) but also capturing seven wins. The Lady Hawks knocked off ranked opponents like Forrest and Columbia Academy as well as Lincoln County.Avary Stockwell hit grand slams against Cheatham County and Karns while Maliyah Wlikins had a grand slam against Columbia Academy. Last week's ranking:No. 1.

2. Henry County (12-2) ‒Henry County managed to squeeze in one game despite poor weather for much of last week. Andie Barrett had an inside-the-park home run in the 7-1 win over Stewart County and while Breely Peirpoint was 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs.Last week's ranking:No. 2.

3. Oakland (12-9) ‒All three of Oakland's games last week were canceled because of weather so the Lady Patriots hold on to its current position in the rankings. Oakland is scheduled to play Riverdale, Rockvale and travel to Hoover, Alabama for a tournament this weekend..Last week's ranking:No. 3.

4. Siegel (19-5-2)Siegel's Mackenzie Venturathrew a complete-game three-hitter with 14 strikeouts as the Stars beat Riverdale 1-0 in their only game last week. Ventura was 2-for-3 at the plate and scored the lone run.Last week's ranking:No. 7.

5. Nolensville (16-5-2) ‒The Lady Knights knocked off Page (5-3) and Lincoln County (3-0) and lost to Columbia Academy (6-5) before tying Green Hill in which Peyton Vieria had three doubles and three RBIs against the Lady Hawks.Last week's ranking:No.4.

6. CPA (10-2) ‒CPA handed Father Ryan a 9-6 loss last Friday and beat Ensworth, 7-1, last Tuesday.Last week's ranking:No. 8

7. Centennial (12-5) ‒Centennial had its games against Ravenwood and Independence canceled last week. It lost its only game of the week to Page, 8-0.Last week's ranking:No. 5.

8. Summit (14-12) ‒After a pair of cancellations last week, Summit beat Independence, 11-1. Lakyn Canada and Saniya Hunter each had RBI doubles while Ashlyn Easley and Anne Marie Richards had RBI triples.Last week's ranking:No 9.

9. Mt. Juliet (18-8) ‒ The Lady Bears endured a losing streak in late March but have been busy winning for much of April. Mt. Juliet captured five wins last week, knocking off Gallatin, Baylor, William Blount, Dobyns-Bennett and CAK Last week's ranking: Not ranked.

10. Beech (15-9)The Lady Bucs lost to Green Hill to start the week but beat Portland and Watertown by a combined score of 20-2. Kaitlyn Graham and Macey Blazek each had doubles and three RBIs in a 14-1 win over Portland.Last week's ranking:No. 10.

Small Class

1. Gordonsville (14-4) ‒Gordonsville's only game last week was a big one as the Lady Tigers shut out Large Class No. 1 ranked Green Hill. Tennessee commit Kailey Plumlee struck out 13 batters in a complete-game performance and only gave up two hits.Last week's ranking:No. 1.

3. Forrest (17-5) ‒The Lady Rockets won eight games last week, including seven in the Ravenwood Raptor Classic that ended with a 9-8 loss to Green Hill in the championship game. The Rockets beat Brentwood (twice), Creek Wood and Hendersonville during the Classic.Last week's ranking:No. 3.

2. Eagleville (10-4) ‒Back-to-back losses to Wilson Central and Cheatham County knocked the Lady Eagles down a spot in the rankings. But Eagleville picked up wins against Summertown, Independence and Ezell-Harding. Arkansas commit Brinli Bain had two doubles and two RBIs in the 9-8 win over Summertown.Last week's ranking:No. 2.

4. Liberty Creek (13-5-1) ‒The Lady Wolves split two games last week beating Springfield 14-0 but losing to Watertown, 2-1. Olivia South had a two-run home run as Liberty Creek scored nine runs in a three-inning win over Springfield..Last week's ranking:No. 4.

5. Waverly (17-6) ‒Waverly won all three games last week beating Creek Wood before traveling to the Gibbs Tournament to pick up wins against Anderson County (7-4) and Dobyns-Bennett (2-1).Last week's ranking:No. 7.

6. Nashville Christian (15-1) ‒Nashville Christian suffered the team's first loss of the season, losing to Friendship Christian, 7-3 but responded with a 14-3 win over Ezell-Harding last Thursday.Last week's ranking:No. 5.

7. Summertown (13-7) ‒Summertown lost to Eagleville last week in the team's only game. Anastyn Larue finished 3-for-4 with a run scored, a double and two RBIs.Last week's ranking:No. 8.

8. Goodpasture (12-7) ‒Goodpasture lost two straight games last week, falling to DCA (6-5) and Davidson Academy (15-8). Faith Brown had two doubles and three RBIs in the loss to DCA.Last week's ranking:No. 6.

9. Columbia Academy (13-8) ‒Columbia Academy lost to Green Hill and Lincoln County but beat BGA and Large Class No. 4 Nolensville, 6-5.Last week's ranking:No. 9.

10. BGA (15-7) ‒The Lady Wildcats cruised to a 15-1 win over Webb School and beat Harpeth Hall, 7-1 before losing to Columbia Academy. Abby McLay had a home run in the 7-5 loss to Columbia Academy.Last week's ranking:No. 10.
